| Nursing services: | Training of lowly trained nurses in Iraqi Kurdistan. Although Iraq is known as very dangerous, the Kurdish region where ACORN is active since 1993, is a safe place where internationals are warmly welcomed by the local population. ACORN is a Christian organisation and we require for staff / volunteers that they are practicing christians if they work with us longer than 3 weeks. If they want to work with us longer than 6 months a DTS (Discipleship Training School of Youth with a Mission) is required. |
| Requirements: | Current nursing license, Experienced in their profession and capable of training lowly trained nurses. Translation from English into Sorani Kurdish will be provided. |
| Cost: | Volunteer responsible for all costs - housing and food are provided by ACORN for approximately 3 weeks |
