| Nursing services: | Our volunteer nurses can work in many areas. They can work in our
Staff Health area completing necessary paperwork for other volunteers
to respond to disasters. Also, they may work on the scene of a local
or national disaster, providing very basic care. There is a series of
three classes that each nurse needs to take. Those include a new volunteer
orientation, Fulfilling Our Mission, and Health Services Response Workshop.
The volunteer then is trained and ready to volunteer with us. The time
commitment can vary depending on the volunteer’s availability, interest,
and goals. |
