| Nursing services: | We send Surgical and Dental Medical Teams into needy areas around the World to provide free care for children. Trips are self funded, with the Teams raising their own funds and providing their own medical supplies. Some trips have Grant assistance, so costs for the volunteers are sometimes reduced or covered, depending on the type of trip it is. All Medical supplies are carried into the country with the Team. Left over supplies are left with the hosting hospital. There are currently annual dues of $245 / nurse, dues are only paid when you travel and covers office Admin expenses and Travel Insurance. Other travel expenses may include airfare, hotel, and food. Volunteers are encouraged to fund raise to cover their expenses. Some Teams do significant fundraising as a group to cover Team expenses. Upcoming trips are posted on our website, Nurses are welcome to contact the Team Leader or Administrator for consideration. We also keep a database of interested travelers. CVs / Resumes can be emailed to our office for inclusion in our database. Please include a note that you want to be considered for future trips. |
