We are a non profit, non-denomination NGO that has been operating in Nepal since 1992. We run medical treks into the Himalayan mountains near the Tibet border twice a year. These treks last approximately 14 days and will take the volunteer through some of the most beautiful parts of the world. We administer primary care and basic healthcare to the most needy on these meidal treks. A typical medical camp is from sunrise to sunset and we will see over 1000 patients in a span of these treks. As well, we have a hospital in Ilam, Nepal (on the eastern border of Nepal) that one can volunteer at for several weeks on end. Access to this hospital is via a road and a good option for a volunteer that does not want to hike.
