| Nursing services: | Our health program areas include family planning, HIV/AIDS,sexual & reproductive health, and community health (alleviation of malaria,HIV/AIDs and other diseases) we the aim to build the aptitude of these communities to improve sanitation and hygiene and promoting health education among the local people. Most clinics are understaffed and have limited resources ( i.e medical supplies & equipments), so nurses with medical experience are needed to work in a variety of areas but disease such as malaria, HIV/Aids, syphilis, as well as childbirth/maternity needs are most common. Nurses can participate in direct patient care , injections and lab work. Also medical or nursing students are welcome. |
| Requirements: | The volunteer must be able to speak English and be in relatively good health. |
| Cost: | $200 per week; $600 per month; plus travel costs |
