| Nursing services: | Today, Wheeling Health Right cares for 11,225 area residents. The clinic is on line to fill more than 90,000 prescription and provide 35000 patient visits in 2000. The clinic staff has been privileged to serve our patients during the last fifteen years, and many of them have been with us for the entire fifteen years. Societal and economical conditions have combined to bring more patients to Wheeling Health Right’s door. Recently, the Board of Directors updated Wheeling Health Right’s mission statement: “To provide access to free comprehensive medical care, preventive care and pharmaceuticals to the underserved. We embrace the philosophy that all are entitled to health maintenance and care.” There is rededication to the mission every day, when the clinic doors open, and patients are greeted with respect and compassion. |
