Nursing services:

AJWS Volunteer Corps places professional Jewish women and men on volunteer assignments with local NGOs in developing countries. Volunteers provide skills training, technical consultancy and general support, and range in age from young professionals to retirees. Through exchanging best practices, AJWS Volunteer Corps participants promote the sustainable development of community-based NGOs. Our health placements focus on training NGO staff and local health providers in medical care and public health. Volunteers do not provide direct nursing services to community members.

Volunteers should have previous international travel and living experience, preferably in developing countries, as well as experience training others.
