Curamericas Global, Inc.

Nursing services:

Curamericas Global, Inc. partners with partners with organizations in communities that lack basic health services to develop self-sustaining programs that deliver measurable improvements in health. Over the past 25 years, we have led several successful child survival and maternal health programs in Latin America and the Caribbean, and are now expanding our reach to Africa. We are always looking for nurses to join our short-term volunteer expeditions, which typically include a team of 6-15 people and last for 10-14 days. Work activities are uniquely planned for each expedition, in order to best match the skills and interests of the volunteers with the most urgent needs of our local partners. This often includes treating patients, helping with field research, and/or providing training for local staff. Expeditions are coordinated and led by a Curamericas facilitator in order to ensure the success of the trip and the safety of the team. (We arrange all of the meals, lodging, in-country transportation, activities, etc. and send a facilitator to accompany the team.)
