Developing World Connections is a non-profit international development agency that organizes teams of individuals or groups to help with projects with our grassroots partners in developing countries. The pairing results in meaningful service experiences for participants, as well as cross-cultural connecting and better understanding. No special talents are required, however DWC has organized custom trips for dental and optical teams wanting to put their particular skills to good use. Participants work side by side with community members on projects such as building schools or homes, helping with agricultural improvements or assisting with training. Participants can also become involved with fundraising to ensure the projects they helped out with continue to be of benefit to the community long-term.
