Nursing services: | All of our homes have internal clinics, that provide healthcare for the children of NPH. Some of the homes also have external clinics, that serve the healthcare needs in the surrounding community. Nurses may work in either the internal or external clinics to care for children, assist in specialized care for HIV/AIDS children, organize visits to specialists, help with prescriptions, vaccinations, etc. NPH is associated with the Catholic Church, and many of the guiding philosophies are based on Catholic Social Teachings. All children at NPH are raised in the Catholic faith. Many, but not all, volunteers are Catholic. We do ask that volunteers support the children’s Catholic upbringing, and attend mass weekly with the children. |
