HOPE Children’s Foundation Africa was established in 2009 by a group of concerned citizens in Kawempe Division to support the health, education and safety of the children in our community. HCFA works for the welfare of the orphans and needy children and while doing so, we expect the target groups in our community to contribute to the overall development of the country and hence increase their standard of living and that of their families. The Project also provides help for those affected by HIV/AIDS by offering health care, community support and opportunities for income generation. HCFA aims to enhance community connectedness and improve the overall health and well being of the most vulnerable members of society. Nurses are needed in a variety of positions which include: assisting in patient’s treatment and diagnosis, carrying out home based care and medical interventions to people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWAS), taking care of patients reporting for out-patient care or on admission, changing bandages and monitoring recovery, carrying out HIV/AIDS awareness, education and prevention, performing minor, major or specialist surgeries and running different programs on health education, basic prevention nutrition and sanitation.
