Solidarity Bridge

Nursing services:

Nurses play a variety of roles while on mission.  Most of them are in surgical nursing or recovery room roles but often they assist us in outpatient settings for our clinics in pediatrics, dermatology, cardiology and gynecology.  Solidarity Bridge is a Catholic mission organization that accepts professionals of all faiths and serves patients of all faiths.  Solidarity Bridge is a Chicago based mission organization that provides health care services to the poorest of the poor in Bolivia.  Volunteer physicians and nurses go to Bolivia 2-3 times per year to provide care with particular emphasis on bringing new technologies and methodologies to our Bolivian partners in the medical community while making care accessible to patients with little or no resources.  Solidarity Bridge also provides financial support and medical supplies for ongoing programs throughout the year aiming to serve various patient groups in Bolivia.  Examples of these ongoing programs include Pacemaker Program, Neurosurgery program, Adult Heart Surgery Program, Kid’s Heart Repair etc.)  To learn more visit
